Which Brow Shape Suits Your Face?

The brow trend changes every couple of years. Your bone structure does not. The shape that actually suits you is the one mapped to your face, and threading is precise enough to build it a hair at a time.

How the Arch Gets Mapped

Three points decide the shape. The start of the brow lines up roughly above the inner corner of the eye. The tail ends on a diagonal drawn from the outer nostril past the outer corner. The arch sits between them — for most faces about two thirds of the way along, not in the middle. Where exactly it lands within that range is what changes the look.

Round Faces

A defined, higher arch adds vertical length and structure. Softly angled works better than a full curve, which echoes the roundness rather than balancing it. Keep the tail reasonably long — a short tail widens the face.

Square and Angular Faces

A softer, more curved arch offsets a strong jaw. Avoid a sharp peak; it doubles down on the angles. A gently rounded brow with a full front is the most flattering combination here.

Heart-Shaped Faces

A wider forehead narrowing to a pointed chin is balanced by a low, softly rounded arch. Height at the arch draws attention upward and exaggerates the width at the top; keeping it low and gentle evens the proportions.

Oval and Long Faces

Oval faces suit almost anything — a soft natural arch is the safe default. Long faces benefit from a flatter, more horizontal brow that runs wider rather than higher, which visually shortens the face.

Getting the Shape Built

If your brows have been over-thinned, the first appointment is about mapping and cleaning — not removing more.
